The Top table of this exquisite instrument is crafted from a two-piece slab-cut fir, while the Back table is made of a matching two-piece slab-cut willow. The Ribs also beautifully match the willow of the Back table. The original Scroll and neck are made of plain grained slab-cut poplar, adding to the instrument's unique character. Equipped with Baker style individual brass tuning gears, this instrument ensures precise tuning and optimal performance. The deep brownish amber varnish, with hints of reddish hues, gives the instrument an antiqued appearance that adds to its allure.
