Luigi Chiericato Copy Bass

Luigi Chiericato 3/4 size copy Bass harkens back to the late 20th century work of the late Chiericato, a pupil of Eugenio Degani. Made with traditional violin corners and a round-back form with pleasing symmetry. Finished in a lovely amber brown varnish with reddish undertones. The bass offers a spirited yet charming old-world feel. Made of a two-piece top plate, maple ribs, and maple back. Original neck and scroll, with a Kolstein adjustable bridge, ebony fingerboard, ebony tailpiece, and a unique set of brass tuning gears.
